About
Lexi believes the purpose of yoga is to awaken to the divine grace and beauty that resides in all of us.
Her yoga studies began in Berkeley, CA in the late 1990’s when providence aligned and her stressful career as a global marketer for Fortune 500 companies and too much cardio(marathons, triathlons, and Century cycling)led her to seek a more balanced way of living. The re-discovery of her parasympathetic nervous system inspired her to study various styles of yoga/teachers including; Sivananda, Bikram, Sri Dharma Mittra, Kripalu, Hatha, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Anusara, Kundalini, and Vinyasa as she traveled the globe for work. In addition, her meditation studies ranged from Spirit Rock in CA, to The Insight Meditation Center in NYC. As a licensed Ashaya Yoga Teacher now living and owning a studio in Essex, NY (www.lakechamplainyogaandwellness.com) she continues to study with Todd Norian and assist his classes when time permits. Lexi's classes are a “secret sauce” of heart, mind, body and spirit, guided by Tantric principles. Pranayama, meditation and proper asana alignment set to a flow of beautiful music create calm and peace amidst the haste and din of our modern world.
