Arlene Hopkins began her yoga practice in 2015 to resolve work related injuries.
After retiring from her career in architecture and education, she rededicated her life's work to a mindful path. Her yoga teacher training began with 200 hours in the Vinyasa and Hatha styles as taught by Adelfa Marie Samson, ERYT 500, YACEP. Adelfa "Del" is the highly esteemed author of Yoga for Daily Living: Balancing Body, Mind and Spirit for Health, Happiness and Peace. (2018) She is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS). Presently Arlene works with children and seniors to connect with nature through creative journaling and sketching, in combination with stretches and basic yoga poses.
