Hi Im Carla — a SoCal-based E-RYT / RYT- yoga instructor fitness coach handstand enthusiast and forever student of mindful movement Trained through CorePower Yoga hr and Jason Crandell Yoga Method hr I made the leap from a corporate sales career back into full-time teaching when my mental health began to suffer; a choice that allowed me to reclaim my passion prioritize balance and create a sustainable career In my music-driven flow and sculpt classes youll find a blend of strength flexibility creative sequencing and mindfulness tools to calm anxiety and build resilience I value learning staying curious and guiding students to know when to challenge themselves and when to soften Im especially passionate about helping yogis feel strong and empowered through inversions As someone who once doubted if I was “strong enough” or had the time to learn handstands I now love breaking these intimidating poses into accessible steps helping students build a solid foundation and explore new edges of their practice Off the mat Im often at the beach watching sunsets surfing slacklining painting or enjoying nights out with friends I live by “everything in moderation” making room for good food a few drinks Netflix in bed and still carving out time for meditation breathwork and daily movement Its my joy to share these practices so you too can find balance self-compassion and the strength to tackle whatever comes your way.
