Dana Sky

She is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance. She completed her 300-hour training at Heartwood Yoga Institute in August 2022. Her practices include a strong alignment-based Vinyasa flow to music and incorporate a focus on mindfulness and kindness. She received her yoga educator training under Heidi Fricke, a Baptiste Tier 3 Certified Teacher owner of Simply Power Yoga, Cincinnati, OH. Also, the teachings of Susan Magee and Kathryn Budig have deeply inspired her. Dana found her practice in 2014 after searching for a way to clear the mind and connect with the body. As a dancer in her young years, teaching many years of different fitness programs such as spinning and rowing resulted in wear and tear on her body. She sought a new way to stay strong, fit, and healthy. Her passion was ignited the moment she took her first chaturanga in a vinyasa flow class and began spreading the word to friends, family, and strangers about this fantastic thing called Yoga. She is a strong proponent of education, continually dedicated to learning and growing and incorporating new techniques and ever-evolving yoga styles into her personal practice.
