About

I took my first yoga lesson nearly 30 years ago at the community center in Seattle’s U-District.Now I teach fun, accessible classes designed to help students feel more ease in their bodies and brains.

Initially interested in learning to put my feet behind my head, I have grown to value yoga for the opportunity to practice deep attentiveness and non-judgment.I have studied with Baxter Bell, Ashley Sharp, Vickie Russell Bell, Domonick Wegesin, Lisa Siniard, Dennis & Kathy Lang, and Abbey Brewer. I am a RYT-200 with Yoga Alliance and have completed 200 hour teacher trainings at two studios: in 2016 at Namaste Yoga in Berkeley, California, and again in 2023 at Etowah Valley Yoga in Cartersville, Georgia. I also have 20 hour certificates in Yoga Nidra, Yin, and prenatal yoga.No matter your starting point, as my student you’ll find space to cultivate kindness, attentiveness, strength, and flexibility.
