About
I received my 300hr Yoga certification from YACEP Bodsphere in India, and 200 hr Yoga certification Amrita: A Sanctuary of Yoga, now Daya Foundation, under Sarahjoy Marsh in 2010.
Under my wonderful teacher and guru Lani Jelen, I completed a 10 month Mentorship with Iyengar and Anusara based instruction. I was inspired by Sarahjoy's non-profit Living-Yoga and it led me to see yoga as an offering, so I began volunteering and taught yoga in low-income housing and senior living centers as well as mental health and behavioral clinics. I’ve completed multiple certifications in Yoga Nidra, a therapeutic mindfulness practice, MBSR, and in Trauma-Informed Yoga from Street Yoga, a non-profit working with at-risk youth.
