About
I began my journey with yoga in 2001.
Since then, yoga has been an integral part of my life for healing as well as maintaining physical and mental health. I love Maine, yoga, traveling, kayaking, hiking, biking, and anything involving the outdoors! I received RYT-200 certification in 2019. I have received training in best practices for trauma-informed yoga and mindfulness for children, as well as exploring yoga through an Ayurvedic perspective. I recently earned an Aerial Yoga teaching certification and Yoga Nidra certification. In addition to this, I hold a Masters in School Counseling for grades K-12. I am able to balance my career as a school counselor with my love for yoga, by sharing yoga practices with staff and students during the school day, and also through my private yoga business, Vacationland Yoga. When not traveling for private lessons, I can be found teaching at Forever Wild Yoga in Brunswick, ME.
