About
Kay Williams is currently registered with Yoga Alliance as a RYT, which means that they completed their yoga teacher training at an active RYS.
Kay completed her 200 RYT teacher training 2013 at Blue Moon Yoga & Fitness in Ormond Beach FL. Practicing yoga for 20 years. Additional certification in Sky Styx yoga 2017 with Christopher Baxter at Discovery Yoga in St. Augustine FL I began practicing yoga because of arthritis in my neck & back, learning the health benefits of yoga in my own body. Using my body weight & movement with breath techniques of yoga, enabled me bring my body back into a healthy balance. As an older yogi, I have learned the benefits of modifications & yoga aids to enhance my yoga practice. Tuning into how your body feels and knowing that each day is different, keeps your yoga practice fresh & revitalizing. Yoga is a journey into observing your body, mind & emotions and moving in a manner consistent with your intentions. For me personally, it is my intention to teach yoga that can enable you to find the healthy balance between "too much & too little" and to help you use yoga to stretch, strengthen and re-balance your health. My teaching style is primarily Vinyasa flow from intermediate to gentle classes offered at Blue Moon Yoga & Fitness and at Plantation Bay Fitness.
