Kelley Butler is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS).
Specialized training in Veterans Yoga Project Mindful Resilience Trauma Training, Adaptive Yoga, & Oncology Yoga Certified. I began practicing yoga in 2001, at home, as a young mom. My goal was to balance stress better. I felt so calm after my very first practice. It was like returning from a relaxing vacation. I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2019 with Out The Box Mind Body Studio in Orange Park, FL. During Covid quarantine, I got the opportunity to teach the Offensive Line at the University of Alabama Birmingham an alignment based practice weekly. It focused on Hip Mobility, Cross-Lateral Connectivity, and Recovery. In 2021, I completed the Veterans Yoga Project Mindful Resilience Trauma Teacher Training. I completed my Oncology Yoga certification at Mayo Clinic in 2024, through the Christina Phipps Foundation. I love being a student and am continuing my yoga education.
