I am always grateful for the teachers & students I learn from & opportunities to offer multiple forms of yoga practices for a variety of student interests: from beginning students new to yoga, those with limitations, athletes & intermediates and those interested to incorporate mindfulness meditation and breathing practices to enhance their lives and manage stress and inflammation. Continuing education is an important part of teaching yoga I am always studying physiology, neuroscience & yogic philosophy, Ayurveda, meditation and breathing techniques and anatomy sciences to enhance my private & group offerings. When not teaching, you'll find me kayaking & hiking in the woods with my dog, Veda, enrolled in a workshop or taking classes from my teachers/colleagues. At Sweetwater studio on the Mullica River we practice yoga on the dock & include kayaking and mindfulness hiking with yoga and meditation for a wonderful retreat!
