I started practicing yoga in January 2011.
I received my RYT -200 certification from The Emerald Heart School of Yoga and registered with Yoga Alliance in February 2014. Yoga is a time devoted to myself and time to escape the never ending to do list of my life. I love leaving yoga with a sense of peace and well being. I am so grateful to Anna Ottolino (The Yoga Effect) and Mara Campbell (Emerald Heart Yoga) for sharing their knowledge and love of yoga with me and for encouraging me to follow my dreams.I have been blessed with a wonderful family including Joe (my biggest supporter, best friend and husband), two wonderful children and my at home yoga partner, Dobby, the black lab. We have lived in Grayslake for 20 years and are members of the Saint Gilbert community. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, music, scrapbooking and traveling.I consider it an honor and privilege to share yoga with students and help bring the physical and mental benefits to everyone!! We should all celebrate ourselves, wherever we are in our lives!!
