Louise Goldberg, ERYT 500, RCYT, C-IAYT, is the owner of Relaxation Now LLC and founder of Creative Relaxation®, Yoga for Special Needs.She is the owner director of the Yoga Center of Deerfield Beach, FL, located in Palm Plaza in the northwest corner.
Her book, Classroom Yoga Breaks, published by WW Norton, 2017, is available in bookstores and at Amazon. In 2013 her book Yoga T for Children with Autism and Special Needs, (Norton Professional Books) is available at Barnes and Noble and through Amazon. She is author of Creative Relaxation DVD: Yoga for Children, featuring children on the autism spectrum, and co-author of S.T.O.P. and Relax© Your Yoga Toolbox for Children of Varying Abilities She leads trainings in Creative Relaxation® Yoga T for Children with Autism and Special Needs internationally. Since 2000, Louise has been the anatomy instructor for the 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training at the Yoga Center of Deerfield Beach, FL, where she teaches classes and leads trainings. She.has been a consultant with the Broward County Florida School system for over 30 years, providing in-service and direct instruction on yoga-based techniques. She has been a presenter at the National Kids Yoga Confererence (2016, 2015), Kripaulu Yoga in Schools Symposium (2015), International Association of Yoga T. SYTAR conference (Boston, 2013), Learning and the Brain Conference (San Francisco, 2012), and for the Autism Society of America (2008, 2009, 2011), as well as at events state and county-wide. Louise taught yoga at the Miami Children's Hospital-Dan Marino Center day camp for children with special needs from 2002- 2019. Since 2019, she has led trainings on yoga for exceptional education in Madrid. Louise leads yoga retreats in Florida and Europe annually. The Florida retreat is an opportunity to delve more deeply into your yoga and meditation practices. The European trip begins each day with hatha yoga. From there we take day trips to explore the countryside or local towns. Sharing the adventure with like-minded souls and enjoying vegetarian cuisine make this a true yoga vacation! Louise teaches gentle yoga, hatha yoga, children's yoga, yoga for children with autism and exceptional ed, and offers advanced trainings and retreats throughout the year.
