"I was actually introduced to yoga after I had already been immersed in wellness and had taught fitness for years. Yoga changed my exercise practice, though... and, soon thereafter, my entire life. For starters, Yoga began to build my relationship with my breath and transformed my understanding of its importance for my overall well-being. Then, Yoga helped me slow down (I have a lot of Vata and Pitta!)... which enabled me to connect my mind and body through movement. Finally, Yoga instilled a deep awareness within me that I am connected to everyone and everything, beyond my lineage and my culture, through my thoughts, my words, and my actions. Fast forward 20+ years... Today I am, well, still learning. Yep, learning. Every. Single. Day. What a gift! We are here to learn from each other, to support each other, and to make the world we inherited in this lifetime a better place for all. Ready to reach out?
