About
Hey there! I’m a passionate yoga instructor dedicated to helping others discover the transformative power of yoga and mindful practice.
With over 8 years of experience teaching yoga, I specialize in [heated] vinyasa flow, and restorative yoga styles, creating classes that focus on breath awareness, alignment, and Drishti to create inner peace and balance. My journey into yoga began in 2008 after I was completely moved upon finishing my first yoga class, feeling lighter, refreshed and rejuvenated. I continued practicing heated vinyasa flow 4-5 times a week from that point onwards. In 2015 I began my teacher training journey at Down Dog Yoga, Washington DC. Upon receiving my certification in 2016, I began teaching in private settings in order to develop my teaching skills. In 2017 I began teaching at Numi Yoga, College Park, and then Down Dog Yoga, Bethesda in 2018, both until the COVID scare of 2020. Currently, I enjoy teaching in my private home studio and travel to students, alike. I also teach children (ages vary from 3-8 years old) at a variety of Private Schools in the Bethesda/DC area. When I am not teaching, I am either exploring nature, selling real estate, enjoying some great food, traveling, or spending time with my family.
