Hi! My name is Megan and I’m a recent graduate from Clemson University where I graduated with an undergrad in Business Management and MBA in Corporate Management.
I’ve played soccer my entire life and am currently pursuing a professional soccer career. I took my first ever yoga class when I was 12 and I actually hated it. But I was reintroduced in March of 2021 when a teammate and friend asked me to go with her. My mind was completely changed in this class and I’ve been in love with it ever since. I’m a very active person and love to be doing things, but yoga has opened my mind and body to slow down and challenge myself in ways I never expected. I can connect with myself on an entirely different level that I never thought was possible. After a few years of practicing, a mentor encouraged me to take teacher training to expand the way I view my practice and the practice of others. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the history, purpose, and programming of the practice and I can’t wait to learn more as the years go by. I mainly practice Vinyasa but I’m also fond of Bikram.
