Melanie Hansen is a Registered Yoga Teacher RYT with Yoga Alliance which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School RYS I took my first yoga class years ago as a way to help with performing as a synchronized swimmer in Las Vegas My yoga practice is something I have always returned to over the years as a way to ground myself and feel good in my body I completed my hour yoga teacher training as well as became a certified reiki practitioner in September at Grounded Wellness Center in Hoffman Estates IL I enjoy teaching a gentle style yoga class while incorporating breath work and meditation to allow students a playful space for self-discovery and encouragement to grow both physically and spiritually My goal is for my students to feel freedom and acceptance on their mats that will carry over into their daily lives.
