Hello! My name is Melissa Hatch, and I have been practicing yoga for about 23 years.
I started yoga as a physical practice to keep me flexible and prevent injury while running. But I fell in love with the mind-body connection…how doing yoga helps relieve stress and calm my mind. I recently completed my RYT 200 training and want to lead others on their yoga journey to find more inner peace and connection. I truly believe yoga is a journey for each and every body. I am also committed to continuing my individual practice to find more balance for myself. I am inspired by Sri Swami Satchidananda who said, “We are not going to change the whole world, but we can change ourselves and feel free as birds. We can be serene even in the midst of calamities, and our serenity makes others more tranquil. Serenity is contagious.”
