About
Mollie Baker is a licensed clinical social worker, therapist, clinical supervisor, and yoga instructor whose teaching is rooted in safety, presence, and deep respect for the body’s wisdom.
Her approach to yoga is shaped by years of trauma-informed clinical work and her experience teaching yoga in VA medical center settings as well as in community spaces.Mollie has taught yoga to Veterans and community members with a focus on nervous system regulation, accessibility, and choice. Her classes are invitational and adaptable, emphasizing grounding, breath, gentle movement, and mindfulness rather than performance or aesthetics. She is especially attentive to the needs of students living with trauma, chronic stress, anxiety, or pain, and strives to create spaces where people feel welcome exactly as they are.At the heart of Mollie’s teaching is a belief that yoga can support reconnection—with the body, with the present moment, and with a sense of inner steadiness. Her style is calm, relational, and strengths-based, offering practices that students can carry off the mat and into daily life.Beginning soon, Mollie will offer monthly, donation-based community yoga classes in the Creswell, Oregon area. These outdoor classes will support Solid Strides and their work to expand access, inclusion, and equity within the equestrian world. Held on shared land alongside equine, bovine, and other sentient barnyard beings who reside on the property, these classes invite participants to join a grounded, community-centered experience shaped by connection—to self, to others, and to the living environment around them.Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu.
