About
Nathalie Edmond is a 500 hour trained experienced yoga teacher.
She started her journey with mindfulness and meditation in 2009. It was not long after that she discovered the beauty of yoga as a moving meditation. Nathalie has been a clinical psychologist for almost two decades and has created and managed innovative programs focused on improving emotional balance and self-care. Nathalie’s yoga training is a fusion of mindfulness, alignment oriented and vinyasa. In addition to the 500 hour teacher training she has completed training in restorative yoga, meditation, reiki levels 1 and 2, yoga nidra, yoga for stress reduction and depression, and mindful yoga and somatic approaches to address trauma. She likes to help people find the yogi within them on and off the mat. She truly believes that yoga is not about being able to do a particular pose but what you learn in the process of doing the pose. Nathalie decided to become a teacher after personally experiencing the amazing benefits of yoga when she was coping with a stressful job while trying to raise two small children. Her focus is helping others increase their curiosity, strength, balance, compassion, body awareness and confidence through the practice of yoga. She takes an antiracist and antioppressive lens to her work to create inclusive spaces that are body positive.
