I am a trained classical ballet dancer and teacher.
I trained at The Hammond School of Dance, Chester, England and the College at the Royal Academy of Dancing, London. I have taught classical ballet in Dublin, London, New York, Spain and here, Northwest Florida over a span of 25 years. I owned and ran a dance studio in Dublin prior to moving to Destin almost 19 years ago. With my ballet background I found myself gravitating to being a student of yoga, pilates, dance and fitness classes. And this transitioned into my being a teacher of dance/fitness classes and now yoga. I hold a Group Fitness Certification from AFAA, a Primary & Advanced Yoga qualification from Fitour, A Pilates Teaching Certificate from Fitour, a Mind & Body Pilates Mat Certification and Zumba Basic, Gold, Step and Toning! I am proud to say I'm a member of Yoga Alliance and was awarded my RYT 200 in January 2017 and look forward to working towards my RYT 500. I love teaching yoga and am so lucky to be able to teach in some wonderful locations in the Destin/Sandestin area.
