About
Paula Strupeck Gardner is a YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider) as well as an E-RYT 500 (having completed Advanced Teacher Training through Prairie Yoga).
She's been teaching something for nearly 40 years (French, ESL, Linguistics) and yoga, ayurveda, and meditation for the last 20 of these years. Her prior teaching experience enriches and informs her yoga teaching with a keen observation, awareness and respect of her students' needs. Paula has led yoga practices of all genres and with all kinds of people--wheelchair athletes, pregnant women, seniors, kids, as well as "regular" folks looking for yoga to help them relax, renew, invigorate... Near and dear to her heart is the MS population. She's been working with people with MS for 17 years and is currently publishing the book MS Chair Yoga at Home so that everyone has access to accessible yoga. She incorporates Restorative Yoga in everything she does, believing in its power to engage the Relaxation Response that is so essential to our overall health. A mentor and trainer for many years, Paula offers support, encouragement, and inspiration to those who come to her to learn and tap into their voice as a teacher. She also is frequently invited to participate as a speaker/demonstrator for national organizations and welcomes you to her heart.
