About
“I hope to arrive at my death late, in love, and a little drunk.” Atticus Yoga Credentials Rachel Landolt is a certified 250-hr Yoga Teacher, with training in Vinyasa and Yin Yoga.
She is a registered teacher with Yoga Alliance and has completed her 200-hour Certification as well as Yin+Restorative training through Stone Wave Yoga’s Teacher Training Program. She is currently teaching weekly classes at Stone Wave Yoga in Poughkeepsie New York and offering private practice via online or at her home studio. More About Rachel: Rachel moved to the Hudson Valley, following her husband back to his childhood hometown upon his retirement from the Unite States Air Force after 20 years of Service. She has a BA in Creative Writing/Poetry from the University of Central Florida, is the founder and CEO of Rachel Hope Arts (an Artistry & Event Company that specializes in painting workshops & events), a commissioned Artist (Acrylic & Canvas), an Herbalist, and a Homemaker. On top of that, she also offers private one-on-one and small group yoga sessions at her home studio or virtually. Her joy has always been brought out most when she felt she was truly helping those around her. Rachel began her yoga journey by taking online courses in 2016 while her family was stationed in Bangkok, Thailand. She used Yoga as a tool to help her on her mental health journey with Anxiety, Self Love, and Acceptance. Once her family moved to New York in 2022 she began searching for a Yoga Studio for in-person practice. Rachel walked through Stone Wave Yoga’s doors in early 2023 and has been practicing there ever since. She completed her Yin & Restorative Certification in September 2023 and became certified with her 200-hour certification in June of 2024. On any given day you can find Rachel practicing yoga in her home studio, dabbling in Herbalism and tincturing, playing with her dog Revan, shopping with her daughter Riley, chatting with friends all over the globe, or cuddling with her husband while watching a feel-good sitcom. One of Rachel's first grade reports stated that "Rachel was off task again due to dancing", and she hopes that she embodies that forever; always being in the moment - mind, body & spirit. To her practice doesn't (and shouldn't) make perfect, “It makes practice. It brings you to your knees and changes with every single breath you take, kind of like life. Your only way through it is by being in it; accepting every moment." And that is the spirit that she brings to her daily life, on and off the mat. Learn more about Rachel by visiting the links below.
