About
I was born in Durango, Mexico, in October, and made the move to the USA in 2003 after marrying my wonderful husband, Jason.
I graduated with a degree in Odontology in 2000, but when I relocated to the United States, I decided to set my dental career aside to focus on family. While raising my kids and adjusting to life in a new country, new language, and being far from my own family, I found peace and purpose in unexpected ways. In 2013, my life took a transformative turn when I discovered yoga. I immediately fell in love with the practice and found it to be the calm and grounding force my life had been missing. This newfound passion led me to enroll in a 200-hour Power Yoga Teacher Training (PYTT) in the fall of 2014, where I deepened my practice and gained the confidence to share it with others. The supportive community at CorePower Yoga became my second home, and I’m forever grateful for the people who encouraged me and helped bring my dreams to life. In 2015, I embraced the energetic world of YSTT, where I found even more joy in expressing myself through music, movement, and connection. It was exhilarating to jump, dance, and inspire others to do the same. By 2019, I had taught over 1,000 classes and realized that I had only scratched the surface of my potential as a teacher. This drove me to take the 200-hour HPF (Hot Power Fusion) Teacher Training to further refine my skills. Yoga has helped me build strength, not only in my body but also in my mind. It has taught me that my only limits are the ones I place on myself, and that I am capable of making my dreams a reality. Today, I am the manager of the Ballard studio, where my yoga journey at CPY first began. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work alongside a talented team and be part of such an inspiring community.
