After a 40+ year career as a retail executive, I have arrived at a place in my life on what’s next? I leaned on my over 20-year passion for yoga to return to the mat to build strength.
The mat became my space to work through adapting to my new retired lifestyle. Over time my yoga instructors encouraged me to explore teaching yoga to share my passion. Beginning in March 2023 I started my teacher training at Heartwood Yoga Institute receiving my RYS 200. Seeking incremental teacher training began 300 Hour training. Accomplished my studies and earned my RYT 500-hour certification in January 2024 at Heartwood Yoga Institute. Broaden my portfolio received certification to teach aqua yoga in May of 2024. This allows enhanced mobility and availability for my target audience to experience water exercise and yoga. Yoga has given me so many gifts like fitness, flexibility and mental clarity. My goal is to connect and share these gifts.
