I am 100% Cuban, my Beautiful Caribbean Island where I was born and Latin music is like the air we breath since we were kids.

Graduated at the University of Holguín, Cuba, as a teacher. Dancer and choreographer. Fitness® Instructor Specialist, Pilates® Specialist and Yoga® Teacher. Newcomer to Canada since 2006 with the desire of sharing my Latin power and traditions with the community through Dance,Yoga, Zumba, Fitness, Party events...and spread the joy. I adore dancing, music, arts, sports, Yoga, Tai Chi, Xi Gong, Falun Dafa, meditation, interact with society and nature. In other words: "Taste and Enjoy the Good Things Life Offers With an Open Mind...! CPR + First AID Fitness® Instructor Specialist and Canfitpro member Pilates® _ Yoga® Specialist Experienced Registered Yoga® Teacher (Yoga Alliance Registered) I teach: Salsa in Couples, Salsa for Singles, Rueda de Casino, Belly Dance, Bollywood and different Dance Styles I also offer: Zumba® Birthday Party Celebrations for all ages (*Specialties as per request) My Yoga path started since I lived in Cuba, familiarizing with Chinese culture and practices at the Chinese Group Colony in Holguin, Cuba and the practice of Taichi where I also learnt some Meditation. I was always interested in learning more about Yoga because I was practicing by myself with no basic knowledge at the beginning, following later the practice at the Chinese Group Colony. My own practice was a way to dedicate some time for my body to recover and keep it healthy as well after long days of hard training in Gymnastics, aerobics, competitive dancing, running, weights... and get deeper into my inner beliefs and practices, which I was able to get to know more when I moved to Canada in 2006. I met a nice couple Max and Mai who were practitioners of Falung Dafa, they guided me through their practice and meditation, "An interested practice that was persecuted in China". Then, I met my husband who is a Buddhist and has a lot in common with my hobbies and he helped me to understand more about meditation, Xi Gong, the Chinese and Indian cultures, , which I was able to tight the links with my African practice and beliefs. During this journey I met our Master at "Ten Thousand Buddhas Sarira Stupa, “Buddhist Temple", a beautiful place to visit where I found the peace and my shelter to study myself and familiarize with his teachings. My husband and I practiced Yoga at home following Rodney Yee and at his was indeed our inspiration. His teaching skills called my attention and interest to grow myself into the Yoga world. I also had the opportunity to get involved into the Yoga world through Jennifer Brydges, an interested individual who wanted me to become a Yoga Teacher. I could not deny this amazing journey and I started my (200-RYT® ) with "Mandorla Yoga Institute" where I did my training. Thank you to Jyoti Gini Solanki, my mentor, I got deeper into the practice and understand the compassion of the Yoga path as a participant and as a teacher. She also introduce our group into "The Hindu Community of Kitchener" as a way of learning different styles of Yoga. Her skills and knowledge made an awesome impact in my life and path. http://www.jsrmt.ca/ Through the Training with Jyoti, i heard lots of awesome comments about Susie Dias and "East to West Yoga School" and coincidentally I had the opportunity to meet with Susie in the Pilates Training. I was truly amazed with her teachings and She was my inspiration to continue with my (350-RYT® and my 500-RYT® which I am almost finishing ) http://www.easttowestyoga.com/ My husband and I enjoy visiting all these temples as a way to absorb more knowledge and different practices as well as energized our body, mind and spirit and enjoy our peace.
